A number of young families gathered in the Parish Hall for this month's Messy Church. It being May, the month of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 'Our Lady' was the theme of the many activities available. It was good to see mums & dads working together with their young children; glitter and glue abounded and a good time was had by all. The day was really well attended and what a joy to be part off,the theme of this Messy Church was about Our Lady, the children young people and adults!! created their own icon of Our lady, decorated and made a clay candle holder, with many more activities,also food is so essential to life and we all shared a simple meal together.
The children finished the session with their own prayers to our lady and prayers of thanks giving, each child took home a blessed medal of Our Lady for their own safe keeping.
