Friday January 22nd was the night on which the 'intelligencia' of the parish gathered together for the Hodovo Quiz Night. This was the first major function in the parish's new prioject to support a Settlement in Bosnia which still houses Internally Displaced Persons, years after the awful civil war.
And so it was that 80 or so people gathered in the Parish Hall putting their fine honed minds into gear for a general knowledge quiz. There was a good mix of young and old and it seemed that everyone had a good time. Refreshments were available as was the almost obligatory raffle. In total £310 was raised which will go into our fund for the school close by to the Settlement.
