The St Clare's "Helping Hands" team are a friendly bunch of parishoners who are happy to help in the community on any odd jobs that you, or someone you know, might be struggling with.
Between us we have a range of DIY skills and tools, and can turn our hands to most things.
Indoors | Outdoors |
Putting up a shelf | Taming overgrown borders |
Fixing a leaky tap | Cutting the grass |
Mending a door | Sweeping up leaves |
Brightening up paintwork | Clearing snow from a drive |
We all find ourselves in difficulty from time to time, so please contact us if you are someone who needs a little help or you know somone else who does.

St.Clare's has a small group of singers and musicians who aim to enhance the liturgy at the 9:30am Sunday Mass. The group currently consists of six singers, and an organist. New members, both singers and musicians (preferably aged 12+ but not necessarily) are always welcome.

St. Clare’s Children's Liturgy
This is the Word of God presented to the children in a way that is appropriate for their age.
In St. Clare’s this is held in the Parish Hall during the 9.30am Mass each Sunday. We usually have two groups for children ages 3-6 and 6+
We try to ensure that Children's Liturgy is an enjoyable experience for the children which nurtures their relationship with God as equal members of our Parish Community.
