The shape of the new narthex is becoming visible, with the steel frame of the facade installed this morning.
By last weekend the walls were already being built up, giving a good idea of the size of the new building, and soon after 7am today a crane arrived on site, ready to put in place a large steel frame. This gives a really good impression of the height of the narthex, the front of which will mostly be clear glass. It's clear that the church will be a lot more visible from the road, and with a glass front will not only look attractive and modern, but also inviting. So far the construction work is progressing well, and everything is on track. Keep up the prayers that the weather is kind to us... at least until the roof is on!
