Hiring St. Clare’s Parish Hall

A request to hire the Hall should be made via the online booking form below.

If it is deemed that the Hall is available for a particular function after submission of the application form, a £20 non-refundable deposit will be payable.


The Parish Fabric & Finance Group resolved that the Parish Hall may only be hired out for private functions to parishioners, that is, to those who regularly attend Mass at St. Clare's. Hiring out of the Hall is completely at the discretion of the Fabric & Finance Group and / or the Parish Priest.



St. Clare’s Parishioners may hire the Hall only for their own use and not for use by a third party.



The cost of hiring the Hall will vary from time to time. The Parish Office will advise of the current rate. A £20 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This is part of the final payment.


The key-pad setting will be advised to you when the payment for the booking is brought to the Office (prior to the event).


The Hall does not have a licence for the sale of alcohol.


Young people must be supervised at all times by a suitable number of adults.


No one under the age of 21 may hire the Hall on their own and the Hall will not be hired out for teenage parties.


All functions must cease and the Hall be empty and cleaned by 10.30pm.


Cleaning - Materials are provided for you to leave the Hall in the state that you would like to find it.



Lights must be switched off, (please check all toilet lights). Please Note- The Safety lights will remain on in all areas.


Rubbish should be taken to the bins between the Presbytery and the church.


Emergency doors should be firmly secured, curtains left open and the Hall must be locked after closing the door by pressing the ‘C’ on the key pad.


Use of Kitchen The kitchen is not designed for the preparation of food: if you wish to serve food please bring it prepared. Use is at your own risk.


Parking is at car owners own risk.


FIRE PRECAUTIONS– please take note of all signs and appliances when setting up the Hall for your function.
