The weather was cold, and it was absolutely trecherous underfoot but 16 of St. Clare's Altar Servers managed to get to the St. Stephen's Day Mass for Altar Servers. They were reminded that St Stephen was only a young man but he still he was willing to witness his love for Jesus and even to suffer for him.
Fr Loughran asked the Servers to be proud of their faith in Jesus and not to be afraid to witness to him. As a sign of their friendship with Jesus Fr Loughran blest and gave each one of the servers a friendship braclet which had been made by the boys in the Cenacolo Community. Some had a representation of our Lady and some of St. Benedict; they were to be worn as a sign of their commitment to Jesus.
