There is no better day than the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to receive God's loving and healing mercy in the Sacrament of the Sick. That day when we remember what great love the Lord Jesus has for us; when we remember his heart burning with love.
And that was the day chosen by the St. Clare's Conference of the SVP to bring some of the sick and housebound to church for the lunchtime Mass. It was during this Mass at Frs Loughran and Smith celebrated the Anointing of the Sick.
Afterwards in the Parish Centre many of those at Mass were entertained to lunch which had been organised by some of the ladies of the parish
