Reflections on the Papal visitOn Friday 1st October an event was held in the School hall which focussed on the many activities taking place in the parish and the Pope’s recent visit to the UK.

About 40 gathered in the hall to hear a number of very personal accounts from 4 parishioners who had taken the trip to Birmingham to see the Pope. It was clear that the experience of seeing the Pope was a profound one which left a lasting impression.  The message was that we should be proud of our faith and should challenge the secular values that prevail in our society.

There were also displays and posters that presented some of the activities that take place in the parish. Representatives from some of our parish organisations were also on hand to talk about their work.
