Maunday Thursday marks the beginning of the Easter Triduum, a three day period that signifies the days of Jesus' passion and resurrection.
Tonight’s service commemorates the Last Supper and we are reminded of our calling to service through the re-enactment of when Jesus washed the feet of his disciples.
Twelve of our young people took their places in order to have the feet washed by the parish priest, Fr Loughran. The service concluded with a solemn procession around the church and exposition of the Holy Eucharist as a reminder of the agony that Jesus endured in his final hours before he was crucified.
