On the Feast of St. Mary Magdalen, July 22nd, as many of our Diocesan friends were heading for Lourdes, the Parish St. Vincent de Paul Society organised a Mass to include the Sacrament of the Sick.
Many of those who are usually housebound were transported to church, amongst their number, quite a few from The Little Sisters of the Poor.The Mass of St. Mary Magdalen who had received a great healing grace from our Lord, was duly celebrated and the Sacrament administered.
Following the Mass a light luncheon was served in the Parish Hall and all where transported home.
