Tonight was one of the highlights of a year of celebrating the 40th anniversary of the parish. Some 90 parishioners gathered in the Great Hall of Preston North End for a fantastic meal.
This was a joyous occasion with young and old sharing stories of significant events from the 40 years that St Clare's Parish has been in existence. Fr Loughran gave a short after dinner address (see video) in which he reflected on the important milestone that has been reached in the life of the parish and the significance of 40. He also gave thanks to the social committee for all of the hard work which went into the organisation of the event. Special thanks needs to go to the Simpson family who did a great deal both before and during the evening.
This truly was a fantastic evening and wonderful opportunity for the social life of the parish.
