Parents, having decided that they wish to register their children for the first Confession Programme, brought the boys and girls to church for the Enrolment Mass at 9.30am on Sunday.
During this Mass each child on the programme together with their mum or dad came to the front of the church and signed the enrolment certificate. This certificate is signed by the Parish Priest on behalf of the parish, by the senior Cathechists on behalf of the Team, as well as the candidate and his or her parent. It is a quadripartite agreement saying that all are going to do their very best in supporting the child in his or her journey to First Confession.
