Harvest ServiceAlways at this point in the School Year the minds of the boys and girls turn to the Season of Autumn and to Harvest Thanksgiving.

Monday morning saw the school gather together in church for the annual Harvest Service. It is true that we do not live in a rural setting, but non-the-less the 'season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,' give the boys and girls a double focus. One, is to be aware of creation, our stewardship of it and thankfulness for the produce of the land. The other is to be mindful of those who have less than we do, hence the House Captains accompanying the Headteacher taking whatever produce is donated to the sick and housebound in the parish.
