Despite the dire warnings of the weather forecasters, Palm Sunday dawned bright and sunny, if somewhat chilly. It was just the right sort of weather to celebrate to Liturgy of Palm Sunday as it should be celebrated.

The congregation gathered outside the Parish Hall and at 9.30am were joined by the servers and clergy for the solemn blessing of the palms and the reading of the Gospel telling the story of Christ's entry into Jerusalem. After this there was the procession into the church for the Mass of Palm Sunday and the reading of St Mark's passion.
This was a fitting start to Holy Week.
