Cat and Mat (Catherine and Matthew) soon to be married, took the roles of 'mother' and 'father' and led us in our parish remembrance of what Jesus was doing, at the Last Supper, when he instituted the Eucharist.
It was a well attended gathering and was opened by a brief explanation of the history of the Exodus from Egypt and the subsequent yearly celebration of this journey into freedom.
All age groups were present and although this was an enjoyable event, it was also an opportunity to enter more deeply into the meaning and history of the Mass.
