Each year at St Clare's we try to complete the First Confession Programme by the beginning of Advent. So it was that on the Feast of Christ the King, the boys and girls gathered in church after their final session with the catechists ready to receive, for the first time, the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
A good number of parents were not only present but also celebrated the Sacrament. When the last Confession had been heard, the children gathered toegther at the front of the church and sang one of their songs.
