On the last Sunday (the 4th in Advent)before Christmas it has become a tradition at St Clare's to have a Family Carol Service by Candle Light. And so it was that 150 parishioners gathered for the telling of the Chritsmas story in song (carol) and through the scriptures.
Some of our school children gathered and sang two carols solo with their own musical accompaniment lead by Judith Chaloner. After the prayers and blessing the assembled company were invited to the Pariish Hall for wine and mince pies.
All of this was a fitting way to prepare to enter into the great feast of of our Lord's incarnation.
