Universally at this time of year the Christian Churches throughout the world mark a week (an octave) of prayer for Christian unity. That is certainlt the case for the local Christian Churches of Fulwood & Broughton.
On Sunday they gathered in St Anthony's church for the main unity Service. And as usual, the Priests and Ministers present re-signed the Covenant which was first signed by Church leaders 25 years ago. So this is the Silver Jubilee of the Covenant - a promise to work and pray together as much as possible.
Later in the week two more prayer Services will be held.
