Well, the weather was not the best, but at least it did not rain (well, not all of the time) as a number of parishioners gathered for a Family day to carry on the celebration of St. Clare's Day which had begun with Holy Mass.
St Clare's Feast Day only rarely falls on a Sunday; but the opportunity was grabbed by the Parish Social Committee to offer some of the families of the parish a chance to come together for fellowship and fun.
Fr Darren organised a Treasure Hunt, a Boules competition was held, some football was played and, to keep the grey matter working, a multi topic quiz was offered. All this and a Jacob's Join too!
