It has become a bit of a tradition at St. Clare's during Lent to have soup lunches in the Parish Hall on Friday.
Even though the first Friday in March marked the feast of St David, the lunches proceeded as normal. Following the noontime Mass which was attended by some of the children from St Clare's school, the boys and girls, together with a goodly number of adults made their way to the Hall for Soup of the Day.
This year the proceeds will go to the Hodovo Project - whereby the school and parish seek to support a former refugee settlement in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
