All the excitement of the race was to be found in St Clare's Parish Hall on Friday night when a funder raiser was organised to send some of our young people to Lourdes with the Diocesan Pilgrimage next year.
Next July may seem a long way off but funds take some raising and it is therefore appropriate to start early. A number of kind parishioners gathered to enjoy a night of fun and excitement and the thrill of the race in a convivial family atmosphere. Soon some young people will be chose to be sponsored by the parish for next year's pilgrimage.
