Thursday saw three of our senior servers attend the annual Guild of St Stephen meal in Kendal, accompanied by Fr Darren.
The Guild of St Stephen is an organisation that promotes high standards of Altar serving. You may have seen the “Guild” medals around the necks of servers who have attained the required standard for membership. On Thursday 7th November, the annual Guild of St Stephen meal took place at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal. Our servers were represented by Simon Hamilton, James Judge and Jonathan Day.
This annual event is an opportunity to meet some of the servers from across our diocese, many of whom have given years of faithful service in our churches.
