A Fond Farewell is what we wish to Mr Mark Purcell as he steps down as Head Teacher of St Clare's School after many years of dedicated service.
The church was full for the End of Term Mass which became a Mass of thanksgiving for Mr Purcell. And it was not just school children that filled it but also past pupils and colleagues, governors present and former, many parents of the pupils who had passed through the school and Fr Lakeland former Parish Priest. The Mass was followed by a 'bun fight' in the School Hall at which the Chair, on behalf of the Governors gave a speech and made a presentation.
We wish Mr Purcell every blessing in his new post.
