Turning The World Upside Down was the theme of the latest North West Day of Renewal held at St Clare's on Saturday 15th October.
The speaker was Fr Philip Conner. He led us through the scripture and reminded us of the utter centrality of the Resurrection and how that cosmic event had to be central to our CHristianity. These days follow a more or less set pattern:Those attending are welcomed with tea or coffee and the day gets underway with a period of Prayer & Praise led by the Metanoia Team. The first of two inputs follows and then we repair to church for Holy Mass. After lunch the cycle is repeated except that in place of Mass we went to the church for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament during which a Prayer Ministry and Confessions are available.
