Almost the worst night you could imagine for a Firework display and party; heavy rain and strong winds but did it stop parishioners and friends in their droves from attending? It did not!
The weather may have been foul but this was a good cause. The good cause was to raise funds to support our friends in the School in Bosnia. Despite the damp condition fireworks were flung into the sky at a rate of knots lighting up the inky blackness of a November night. Perhaps because of the damp and the cold the hot dogs, burgers and hotpot went very well indeed staving off the November chill.
Congratulations to our uniformed groups for the part they played in this venture and to all who organised and supported this event.
