Meet the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal. These four sisters, who live a life very similar to that of St Francis of Assisi, will be with us for a week at the beginning of Lent.

The first Franciscans arrived in Preston in 1260, just seven years after St Clare died. Now, for a few days, Franciscans will be back in our city. The Sisters of the Renewal from the Leeds community, accompanied by one of the Friars, will lead us in times of prayer, meet with parishioners and spend time in our schools. They come to share something of the joy and peace they have discovered in following Jesus. Monday 11th-Thursday 14th March, each evening at 7pm the Franciscans will lead us in a time of prayer, seeking God's healing power. You are welcome to come and join us! To find out more about the visit, see the full timetable on our flyer.
