Our World Youth Day fundraising got off to a flying start at St Clare's with a Prize Bingo to help take many of our young people to meet with Pope Francis in Kracow.
Kracow is the venue for this time's World Youth Day; this is an enormous gathering of Catholic youth from all around the globe who will gather together to celebrate their love of Jesus as young Catholics. It will be an opportunity for young people to actually experience the universality of the Church, rubbing shoulders with young Catholics from far and wide.
We have a mamouth task ahead of us as a parish to help each young person raise enough money (£600) to get them to WYD (and back)!
