This morning (Monday 17th August) reminded me of the beginning of our trip to Hodovo, because it was another 3am start as I began the journey to Poland; an advance trip to try and make arrangements for our young people going to Poland next year for World Youth Day.
My flight was at 7am landing at Kraków at 10.30am local time. I was met at the airport by Karol who is a seminarian studying for the priesthood in London at Allen Hall Seminary for the Neo-Catechumenal Way. Karol kindly offered to be the guide and the translator so I could begin to search for a suitable hotel and make the rest of the arrangements for the pilgrimage.
Once we had collected the hire car he headed to the centre of Kraków and began to visit the hotels and hostels that I had researched on the internet over the last week while still in the UK. After visiting numerous hotels and driving around a busy Kraków we have not been successful in finding the right accommodation for the pilgrimage.
In the morning we are going to travel further afield, which we thought would be the case, to find suitable accommodation.
