Yesterday over 40 of our young people came together for the day to celebrate National Youth Sunday, the feast of Christ the King. The day got under way at 11am when the young people played some ice breaker games.
The young people then engaged in many activities learning about the Feast of Christ the King. They also prepared for the 6pm Mass, to lead the parish with the music and the liturgy. As always the young people enjoyed the day and were appreciative of all the effort and hand work that goes into planning these days. Our thanks goes to all those who made it possible, to: John and Lucy Slater who fed our young people, to Ruth and Joe for planning the day, and to Eileen, Anne, Denise and Norah who volunteered for the day supporting our young people. These people work with our young people every Tuesday at both of our youth groups which are only possible with their support please keep then in your prayers and, indeed, our young people.
