The young people from Hodovo give their thoughts and reflections on their visit to England and to St Clare's

Coming to England was the most amazing trip I have ever been on. Every single day was awesome and everyone was so welcoming. It was the best experience of my life and a dream come true. Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible.

This was an amazing experience for all of us. I am really happy that I met so polite and great people and we all became great friends. I especially liked how well organised the schools were, which was fascinating. We are so grateful to Father Darren and all who made this trip possible I just want to say thank you to all the good people from Preston who welcomed us. You have a beautiful culture and strong faith and Preston is a wonderful city. Thank you all and best wishes from Hodovo.

I was so excited about the trip to England. Everyone was so happy on the plane and when we landed in England, I saw my friends who I have not seen for a year. Everyone was very kind and pleasant. We visited Liverpool, saw some historical places and just had a fantastic time. Thank you.

We owe a lot to all the good people in England who gave us this opportunity to visit the wonderful city of Preston. Our parents are also so happy that we had this amazing opportunity and we retell our stories to them every day. We visited a lot; we were in the cities of Liverpool and Lancaster. We thank all the people who received us in their houses and were so nice and welcoming. Thank you for everything and I pray that God’s blessings will always be with you all.

After landing in Manchester, our beautiful experience in England started. The best time for me on this trip was the time to socialise and play with our English friends. You were all kind and wonderful hosts and I truly felt at home. I have beautiful memories from this trip and my English friends will always have a special place in my heart. I’m looking forward to seeing them all again.

This week has just been an incredible experience and I now have so many lovely memories. I think it’s amazing how, although we don’t speak the same language and come from completely different places, we can still be the best of friends. I’m sure we’ll all be friends for life and I am very excited for our week together this summer in Hodovo.
