Most of the young people had not previously realised that there was more than one 4 o'clock in any 24 hours! But they soon learned the truth, as this morning was a 4am start.
Under the cover of darkness the journey began, to ensure we were at the airport in plenty to of time for our 06.55 flight from Manchester to Dubrovnik. The flight was on time and we arrived in Dubrovnik just after 10.30.
Unfortunately, the minibus had only been booked from noon so there was a bit of a wait until we headed off to Medjugorje. Once we had arrived at the hotel and rested for a while we headed down to the town and St James’s church were the young people familiarised themselves with the local area. It was then time for an early night after a long day.
