After a very long coach journey, we arrived on Friday afternoon in Lourdes. We spent the rest of the day relaxing and settling into our rooms.

I think that it came as a bit of a shock for some of our young people to find that there were two 4.30s in one day!

The Parish Faith-based youth groups, Seekers & God’s Friends Forever, ended their year in a spectacular fashion with fun and games and high jinx on the church field. Bouncy Castles and the like appeared in profusion, as did ‘nets’ for penalty shootouts.

On Wednesday evening Fr. Darren travelled to Castlerigg to join the Year 10s from Corpus Christi Catholic High School who were on their retreat week at the Diocese Youth Centre.

On Saturday 14th June, around 60 young people aged 7 – 18 gathered at St Clare’s for a day of fun and preparation for the visitation of Bishop Michael Campbell OSA.
